Objectives

• Foster collaboration and linkages among quality assurance practitioners within East Africa.
• Promote a culture of quality assurance in higher education in East Africa.
• Enhance the capacity of quality assurance units in higher education institutions.
• Collaborate with regional and international quality assurance bodies in capacity building.
• Promote research into the practice of quality assurance in higher education.
• Share quality assurance expertise and experiences within the region.
• Plan and host quality assurance conferences, symposia, workshops and fora.
• Train and sustain a pool of quality assurance experts in the region.

Membership

Membership is open to individuals actively involved in higher education in the East African Partner States, universities and higher education institutions, national quality assurance networks, and the national commissions and councils responsible for quality of higher education.
